Can I transfer ingame money to other Commanders?

Guess they'll have to work that much harder, instead of having someone give them everything and "pay-to-win"

Personally, I hope we're never able to transfer in game credits to other players, it will keep from selling credits on 3rd party websites and keep the game honest.

Elite: Dangerous seems different in that regard. It's not some kind of point and click MMORPG where people farm in game gold or employ bots to get advantage over other players. As far as I understand people will cheat, they will add obscene amount of money to their in game accounts and they will buy all the ships right after starting the game. Some will even try to sell accounts and so on. And you can't stop them from doing that. If somebody dedicated to hit his finger with a hammer - he will do that and that's about it. But there is one big difference - you can always go solo or just play with your friends and nobody else (as far as I understand). So there is really not much reason to cheat. Nobody force you to play in one seamless world. You can have your own story without pesky personalities and be any kind of superhero, villain or just regular bystander in a ship strolling around and selling goods. And even if somebody will cheat obscene amount of goods in open play - I don't care much. It's like eating whole pie without even getting a taste of it. Sure some people going to do that. But it's not necessarily the way it was intended :) Stretch the pleasure, start at the bottom and climb to the top while enjoying new features that certainly will be added along the way.

I think this is a fairly important feature, to be honest, I would be very disappointed if it's not implemented. Probably the only remaining interesting style of play I look forward to is playing in a private group and doing co-ordinated, co-operative gameplay. I look forward to working with a team of 2 or 3 others, and playstyles such as one of us in a large cargo vessel stripped down for a specific role, and relying on the other guys to provide support. But ultimately, the cargo vessel would take the spoils - collecting liberated cargo for example. There has to be a way that the profits can be shared across the group. An inability to transfer credits to my friends would be a big disappointment, to be honest :( getting sick and tired of having to do it via swapping gold and making them "illegals" as a result...
