Idk. I have to kind of agree that the way game companies do releases nowadays is annoying at best. Launches are often incomplete, there too much dlc, too many versions with just a bit more added in that should've been in the game at launch, microtransactions, live services, etc. People are just getting sick of it and it's not hard to see why.
Every company just seems out to nickel and dime you these days, or they do annoying things to get you to subscribe more of your bank account away. Like how everything used to be on Netflix but now we have Hulu, Disney+, and what seems like 100 other subscription services you need to watch movies without being pigeonholed into one category.
It's not that Fdev is as bad as most when it comes to this, it's just the standard now, and SHOULD NOT be accepted by consumers.
