Discussion Can INARA handle multiple commanders?

As there doesn't seem any obvious official thread for INARA, I'll have to post my question (see above) here.

I've recently created a second commander with the long term goal to have one commander in the bubble while the other is out exploring.
Thus my question(s): Can INARA handle more than one commander and if yes, how does that work?

Yes, create a second Inara account.
When using Inara's Import Data button, be very careful about which Frontier account you authorize.
In Inara settings generate its own API key and enter that key in EDMC/etc as normal (log in to solo/open/PG first so the tool knows which commander)

I did the same, since each Cmdr needs a separate Frontier account with a separate email address I just created a new Inara account using the same email address I used for my alt, and linked the new Inara account to the new Frontier account. So if I log in to Inara using email #1 I see my main commander, if I log in using email #2 I see my alt.

Apparently, this isn't the case, anymore. I was able to use the same email address for the frontier account, just with a different password. Which I forgot to write down. 🤔🙄🤦🏾‍♀️
It still is a case and the addresses must be unique. Maybe you have used a different address or a suffix like something@gmail.com, something+alt@gmail.com, which will fit into the "the address must be unique" condition on Inara. Just mentioning it for others, if they will have a need to create an extra account for their alts, too. :)

On INARA... Well, that is a point I haven't crossed yet. I was talking about the frontier accounts.
Though I'm not entirely sure about this anymore. Bright as I was that day, I apparently instantly deleted any trace of what I did...

The two separate Inara accounts is how I'm doing it with mine ... I might be going a step further though.
Desktop - the Inara pages there stay logged into my main account.
Laptop - I have Inara logged into my alt account.
There's probably a smarter way to do that (Chrome Inara for main, Waterfox Inara for alt?) but that's been working for me so far.

Well, I got only my laptop for the time being to make all this work. But I guess I'll take care about that at a later time when life isn't as chaotic.

Firefox containers extension works well for this. Each account has it's own container so can be logged in at the same time.
