Can no longer bind G13 stick

I haven't played in a few days, but noticed after the update today that my G13 thumb stick was still bound, but no longer functional for lateral thrusters. I am also unable to bind it as it doesn't seem the game picks it up any more even though the other buttons on the controller seem to work fine. Has anyone else noticed a problem since 1.04?

My G13 stick is fine, but I have it set to macro throttle up + forward thrust, throttle down + reverse thrust, these are set to the normal keyboard key binds.

3/1 odds your HUD is active on the chat window and blocking inputs.

Are you able to bind it's analog stick to the lateral thrust axis controls?

The chat HUD is blocking binding joy axis when you aren't even in the game yet? Seems legit.

Just had some time to play around with this and found that neither the joystick functions or binding the stick to press lateral thruster keys worked even though i could bind them to other G keys on the G13 and it would work fine. SO I ended up just resintalling the Logitech gaming software and then the stick started working fine in Elite again. So I'm not sure what went wrong with it, but figured if someone searching stumbles on this post it's a good first step to troubleshooting if your G13 stick stops working.

I have the same issue - but I use an X55.

The chat window is blocking other inputs from the controller. I find after 1.1 that the chat window defaults to open after each transition into/out of SC.
I have to hit 'c' to make things work.

It's manageable but a tad annoying.
