I've been hunting down info over a bug that I think I found, and I'm looking to see if anyone else has run across this same problem. It seems that NPC crew are able to accrue bounties for your ship if they friendly fire (which can happen a lot when the cops show up and the pilot sucks). I suspect that I've lost 2 ships to it and after doing some digging, its not an isolated incident to have friendly fire or odd bounties gained with NPC SLF's.

Apparently this scenario has been around for a year now, but it's seems to be an uncommon occurrence. In my testing, I've eliminated the possibility that it was myself or even stray turret fire (turret fire against an untargeted ship doesn't count against you if the turret is set to "Target Only"). What's odd is I've only had this twice, but I bounty hunted with a Keelback for at least 2 months, made a killing, and only saw it happen once. So either the NPC has really good aim, or something is inconsistent. I'm going to play around with the fighters to see what it could be. Have any of you seen this?
