Your clipper should not only survive, but to outfly any ship, its one of the fastest ships in the game.
Majority of complaints of that nature is simply not understanding the game mechanics ans making simple mistakes that lead to the rebuy screen.

Yes, it's far easier to call me inexperienced than to acknowledge that the game has flaws when it comes to multiplayer interaction.

But you know what, I'll come clean. I'll admit it: I'm not some PvP ace, I've probably had less than 50 PvP lifetime encounters, despite having played this game since Beta Open-only before I decided to quit, and yes, my Clipper only had G3 engines at the time, wheres the assailant probably had G5 god rolls, since he was able to keep up with me, having knocked-out my FSD with a lateral interdiction which shouldn't be possible in the first place.

And you know what else: I feel you might have missed the point of my post. Which was that even if I would have had the option to high-wake, it would have been a boring, dull, horrible multiplayer experience. Press button to escape. Yay. Or for the pirate, press mouse button to deploy and shoot. Keep pressed. Because if you stop shooting, the piratee will either high-wake or worse. Double yay. Very fun. Much multiplayer. Such entertainment. Wow.

I have a T7 with 224T of cargo that can escape 3 pvp outfitted FDLs.

If by escaping you mean high-waking the moment you see one of them, then I believe you.

Perhaps you should have done a bit more than press a button to escape? Im going out on a limb here and guessing you pointed your nose toward your escape vector and boosted until you were blue in the face? There's not being experienced at pvp, and then there's just not having common sense :p
