Very seldom are there any bugged missions. Not had any myself, and I've been playing since release. Only 'bug' I've heard of, is a couple of clan-mates not being able to locate the target for an assassination mission.

I've personally not had any bugged missions other than "$station $name" but I know for a fact tons of them are bugged.

Many people aren't aware that on many missions you must fly to the system in question, then fly around in supercruise looking for Unknown Signal Sources, Weak Signal Sources and Strong Signal Sources. Also you have to go to different ones and keep looking for them until you complete the missions. Often times it takes many signal sources to investigate before you complete your objectives.

Got the alternate mission, well it updated but there was no text in the comms box to read from the go between.....In transactions the updated mission title box blank, can open it to read original mission details.... Searched for hours and hours.... Its only worth 20k anyway...!!
