Can someone explain me the trade data information?

I am lost in it and it makes no sense.

First systems saying export doesn't have the goods, because sure, not selling something is considered "export"
Second they show export on prohibited goods, which makes no sense at all.

so how am i able to find a location selling personal weapons with this screen?

I was at dongzi and have the mission to haul a lot personal weaons.

now following those "weapon" category lines LP888-62 is there they get imported from, all other lines go away from Njokujil. Buit nokujil doesn't even sell ANY weapons. so dunno what they even "export" or why those lines are shown. the in system screen lists no wepaons under the exports, and even lists those personal weapons as prohibited. So i doubt they sell them as well.

But why is this, how do the shown information and the filter even work, whats the point of showing an export price for a station when those goods aren't even available at it?

I cannot see the logic of this system.


Edit: I used eddb, and funnily even there Lintott Gateway is said to sell personal wepaons, yet there here are none

tried various systems, and found weapons at ANIMA

so now I have both these systems with export lines and the green export arrow, yet one is selling them, the other not. This makes no sense to me at all.Anima however looks like the example of "how it should work" Njokujil however looks simply broken to me.

How many stations or outposts are in the system? It could be that there is a faction who doesn’t consider them to be prohibited and might own a station or outpost with a commodities market who sells them. Have you checked all of the markets in the system?

I would need to check every stationt hen, yet the issue is shown in screen one, "matthew station" is shown as "export" with a price while the station itself doesn't even have any. This is simply a flaw in the data screen. Switchign through these stations int hat overview should only show you stations actually selling them and having supply of them. I mean what is an "export price" when there isn't anything to actually export? this has no relevant information for the player to do anything with it.

people want to know where they cna buy them and not see wirdo "export" tags and prices and then not buy it there.

Can't really help with the trade data lines, never really used them. I spend some time trading around with the new tools which have been correct for me so far but I only have trader in a limited area. Could be a bug, or maybe its about it needing some time to update information there so it wasn't quite up to date, dunno.

As for 3rd party trading tools they are not necessary always correct. It can be some days since the last update of a Market and a commodity can dissapear from being availalbe on market under certain systemstates.
