it would be amusing if they just made their other games as worlds within the elite dangerous universe. You wouldn't be able to land on them obviously, cuz they have atmospheres. but they'd have galnet news items and such about events going on in those games. Just to torture all the people who still think this is a serious space combat / trader sim game ...unlike that fake cartoony no man's sky or such. Reading this article, I totally expected some mention of rollercoasters like you would never believe and dinosaurs ...etc.

Was this Wan- I mean Winking Cat a regular in the Galnet stories or did he/she/it just materialise out of thin air recently?

I think they were mentioned in lore and one or twice on Galnet a long time ago, then disappeared, then became a Galnet regular a month or two ago.
