Can someone please check out HR 6870

If you're near the bubble, can you pop over to HR 6870?

EDSM is reporting three of the ultra-rare 'Helium Giants' (not HRGG), that were previously only known in two systems. The system itself has been in EDSM's database since 2016, so either it's spoofed data, or FDev pulled a fast one on us. We just need someone to check the gas giants in those systems and report the type back.

Thanks!

Atmo composition is a little off for all 3 though.. all of them are nearly 50% hydrogen & the stated feature of these gas giants is that they're meant to have lost all/most of their hyrdogen. So, there's that.

Damn, how did these get missed for 4-ish years? This brings the entire known total of them from 12 to 15. I would love to know if anyone prior to the last patch has a record of being in this system.

Indeed remarkable, especially as EDSM notes 12 visitors to the system, and only one in the last 7 days, which should have been Kail. So plenty of EDSM-synced people who could have found them. Alas, the EDSM page does not show when realTIMematrix first scanned them, but he only recently registered at EDSM (28th May) - but that does not mean that he did not visit that system 3 years ago, it might just be when he synced all his past journal data with EDSM. A EDSM journal entry published in June he dated back to 3302.
And then there is also a different person that first mapped them, which I imagine must have happened after realTIMematrix synced with EDSM.

BTW the atmospheric composition for all three HGG's is identical and, probably, incorrect.

Jacksons lighthouse is 13 solar masses but somehow not massive enough that its a black hole and i would believe this is common knowledge. Why is incorrect gas giant composition so surprising?
