Can someone please explain system Thargoid War Information tab?

Btw the purple line here is barely moving.
What's the meaning of "Thargoid infestation in 5W 6D"?

Also, "Attack cycle ends in 4D - expected losses Ampere Dock".
Does this mean if purple line is not full in 4 days Ampere will be destroyed?
What if the purple line fills up before 4 days?

(Presumed but not absolutely certain this early on)

Purple line fills up within the next 4 days: Ampere Dock is saved, the Thargoids are repelled
Purple line fills up in between 4 days and 5 weeks, 6 days [1]: Ampere Dock is destroyed and needs repairing/rebuilding but the Thargoids are repelled
<At some point in that gap the other station probably comes under attack>
Purple line does not fill up in 5 weeks, 6 days: The system is lost and the Thargoids take over in full. All remaining human population evacuates or is killed. The system now needs to be retaken from the Thargoids before rebuilding can begin.

[1] Or possibly 6 weeks, 5 days - there's a chance that the numbers are being printed backwards here.
