Can someone recommend a group?

Hi,

Hate to say it but I've totally had my fill of open. I won't go into details as it's probably pointless but after playing open for like 14 months it's time I moved. Tonight alone has cost me just under 5m in insurance for no good reason.

is the Mobius group still the best pve one to join or would you recommend another? I think I'd find solo a little boring, just want to meet friendly people that aren't sociopaths. ;)

Mobius is your best bet, friendly bunch over there. I know how you feel mate, a 20 mill loss pushed me over to Mobius for a few weeks, now I just swap between them and Open

Yeah by far still as far as I'm concerned anyway.

I have added Mobius and another in my Group but in the Start Menu nothing shows up. Just the Cancel button. Must I make a request somehow?
OK I now seen it show the 2 groups - there's a delay like it was still searching Servers.

These are the instructions for joining the Mobius group, taken from the website http://www.elitepve.com/. Note especially everything below in bold type.

How to join the Elite: Dangerous PvE group:
1. Start the game from the launcher as usual
2. Choose "FRIENDS AND PRIVATE GROUPS" from the MAIN MENU
3. Click the "GROUPS" tab
4. Click "SEARCH GROUPS"
5. Enter MOBIUS and click "SEARCH"
You may find other fake Mobius groups with extra dots or similar.​
Our group is simply MOBIUS​
The MOBIUS group should appear below​
6. click "REQUEST JOIN" to it's right

You will be accepted into the Group manually, so I suggest waiting 24 hours before trying to play in it.
(this may happen within a few hours/min of applying to join as I monitor posts and group requests often)


To PLAY in the group...
1. Start the game from the launcher as usual
2. Click START
3. Click PRIVATE GROUP
4. Click MOBIUS and the game will start
