Can someone show off their Orca ember paint?

Why don't you just preview it in outfitting? That usually gives a pretty good idea of what you'll get.
There's not a lot of light in the hangar, many paintkits do not really shine there. Not a good place for a preview IMHO.
I agree. Plus, you only get to view it from one angle -- and the angle given is really kind of crappy for examining a paintjob.
I'm not saying that I don't appreciate the in-game preview, though. I am glad they added it, and it does at least give you an idea of how the paint will look under typical in-game lighting.
I do, however, find the in-game preview is fantastic for stuff like bobbleheads and decals.

Depends where you are. Some hangars have much lighter walls than others. Personally I've never had an issue making a purchase based on that preview.

I think the Pathfinder pack for the Orca contains the best looking paint jobs in the game. Simple and clean metallic paint job with a tasteful color accent.
Out of all the paint jobs that they shovel out as cookie-cutter remakes for every ship type I wish that this pack were one of them. I'd love to have a version of the Pathfinder pack for my Type-10.

It was a 3 way tie between wayfarer, pathfinder, and ember, but ember won because flames make the ship go faster.
I actually meant to call out the Prestige pack but I was trying to remember these names off the top of my head. I really like the Prestige Blue, it's a nice metallic base with metallic blue designs and has orange accents on the fins that contrast the blue nicely. That is the paint job I wish I could get for my Type-10.
I do like the Pathfinder pack too, honestly, and it's probably my 2nd favorite paint pack. The Orca just has some really nice paint options compared to most other ships.
Nice! I’m going in an Orca as well, though I picked up the chrome paint. . Mmm shiny.
