Newcomer / Intro Can´t deliver mission items

Well... This is a pretty recurrent problem, however, my specific problem is not without a grain of salt...
I accepted a mission to deliver specific items from one location to other
I picked up those specific items correctly, that is, not bought them on the market and accepted them from the person who gave me the mission
I traveled to the destination, I entered the station and then starport facilities and then Mission Board (which, actually had the ! mark, meaning a mission was due to completing there)
And then... Nothing... No complete button. Just lots of people giving me lots of NEW missions... But nowhere to see how to complete this one (actually to unload a portion of the cargo, the cargo is in my hold, by the way).

Any help?

I mean, the unloading is sometimes hidden down below.
Or do you mean you're not seeing your mission at all?

No, I clicked on each of the individuals on the left pane and checked each and every line on the right pane, scrolling down. Every of those lines refer to new missions and none of it to the mission I should be able to complete, or, better, to partially complete, since I hold 2 of the 6 items to fulfill the order.

Ah... So there IS a faction to deliver too Well, I learned something today, thanks
But I searched on the left pane and this faction is not represented there (Yimanbin nationalists), here:

Unfortunately, that faction does not seem to be present in the system (according to EDDB). This sometimes happens if they have retreated from the system between when you picked up the mission and when you get there.

If that's the case, then unfortunately you will have to abandon the mission as there's no way of completing it. It's a bit of a pain, but you should be able to recover the lost reputation and costs fairly quickly by taking another mission (from the original mission giver).

Ah... Woe me, this was just the SECOND mission I was taking right after leaving protected space... And I haven´t even completed the first yet so this was to be the first to complete... Tough luck. Not fair though, the game should not punish a player for his contacts to disappear...

Yes, I genuinely feel for you, it's a tough break when you are starting out, and a relatively rare occurrence as far as I'm aware.

Since it's no fault of your own, you could try a support ticket to see whether they will at least give you back any credits you lost. You can try that from here.

Edit - Also, I have no idea if that faction were ever in that system, just that they aren't there now, so it's also possible (unlikely) that it's a bug, so pop that into a ticket if you do submit one.
