Powerplay Faction: Li Yong-Rui Can the 15% discount make me profit??

So only just recently learned, after all these months in the game, that Li Yong-Rui controlled stations give a 15% discount on ships and modules.

Is it possible to buy say a 6A scoop (24mil-ish there) and then go into some other station and sell at full price (28mil-ish)?? Then repeat in a loop, just like trading....

Yup.

OP, this works in your benefit. Because the module cost is "remembered" it also means your rebuy cost is lower. Completely buy/outfit a ship in LYR space? 15% cheaper ship with 15% less insurance.

This wasn't always the case. Stations used to buy modules for the same price they sold them for and plenty of people exploited this oversight to make huge amounts of cash by moving stuff from Shinrarta to LFS 926 back near launch.

Frontier docked their profits and patched out the bug.
