I don’t have a problem with C&P but I am flying on the wrong side of the law a lot these days.

Kudos to Frontier for once again winning on the sound design.

To the fierce barking: THIS IS THE BLUE EPAULETTES. THIS AREA IS UNDER LOCKDOWN.

The intensity and focus of combat kicks up another notch. Sweat drenching heart pounding adrenaline kicks in.

When the Blue Epaulettes arrive I’m on a one way street to an expensive rebuy, and I need to get out now.
The burst of static that heralds them is my signal to check my hi wake target. Assess my victim’s combat target’s hull strength (less than 10%? maybe one more shot). Stow weapons hi wake boost heatsink chaff and pray.

But as I watch the friendship drive spooling up while my hull chipping down towards nothing and the cockpit fills with sparks and smoke - sometimes I wonder -

Does anyone take on the ATR with any expectation of winning?

Like, it feels like there’s maybe three that turn up.
I’m not sure what they are flying but my guess is FDLs Kraits and Chieftans.

And I assume they have engineered weapons, but still weapons a CMDR could buy.

So are there ways to hold them down and kill one? And survive?

I'm not really into criminal activities, tho i remember once i dropped into a distress signal, shot the bad guy and accidentally nicked the cop too. Suddenly I was fighting 2 targets so i figured what the hell. Go for it.
As i quickly dealt with the pirate and turned my haze on the cop, i started feeling something new, i was on edge. I started to smile without realising it, while i was drenching my beams into his tender hull.
He calls his buddies, Anaconda and python, both deadly. So i figured, screw it, might as well go the distance. 80% hull, but i got them.
..... More show up, lots more.. Seemed futile, but i persevered.
In the end I was surrounded by 4 ships, all of them mercilessly punching me from all sides. My cockpit started to smoke and burn, canopy was gone a long time before.
I didn't run for it. I deserved a warrior's death. Valhala I am coming.
