Can the Eucalyptus Tree Feeder count towards coverage for Koalas (because they are a tree)

I haven't looked at it too closely to be honest, but I was under the impression it was supposed to be a fake tree of some kind like many zoos use to feed their koalas. I could be wrong though.

Well, I just believe this should be the case because in every zoo I have been to here in Australia, Koalas have real, living trees in their exhibits for them to feed and keepers bring in fresh eucalyptus every day and they usually just attach a bucket (I don't know what it is) and they put the leaves into, that is what I see in Planet Zoo, you have a real tree, with a feeder, that's it, attach onto the trunk and keepers put leaves in it, so its a real tree, that doesn't count towards coverage.

I understand your point but I that's a lot of effort for just 1 item.
I don't think we have something similar in PZ already so it would be a new thing: an item that classifies as tree/foilage and a food enrichment item.

I just made this thread because of reality, the trees are the koala's feeding station, in zoos and in the wild
Yes, I understand. I'm talking about application of that in a video game.
At this moment we don't have an enrichment item which also acts as a foilage/nature item.
The acacia tree also doesn't count as a food enrichment item for the Giraffe, i'm pretty sure other people are able to give other examples.

They have to create a mixed item of nature/food enrichment, which would require multiple changes - at this stage looks very unlikely.
Not against the idea but prefer they spent time for something that would apply to more/most in-game species and not just for 1 DLC animal.
