Can the intelligents commanders pls move inside after docking?

Even if someone goes below deck after landing, the pad is still blocked.
If you don't believe me, go to a small outpost with a lot of traffic. The pads only become available after people leave, not when they enter the hanger.
This makes sense because since each pad services only 1 hangar bay, if a ship was in the hanger and someone landed on the pad, the ship in the hanger would become blocked from returning to surface, and the ship that landed on top would be blocked from entering the hanger.

We sat outside as a player landed on the pad and logged out. The station had only one landing pad. A few of us eventually showed up and were waiting.
I was fortunate enough to see the fellow dock so I knew it wasn't a glitch. People started talking to each other, asking if they had trouble docking. So a conversation popped up while waiting about this and the game in general.
People interacted with each other while waiting to dock, finally I got in, I let people know, was quick so they could take their turn.
The part to take away from this is I made a friend while just sitting and idling chatting to someone while waiting for a dock to clear. That brought more immersion and fun to the game for me.
