Can The Sharpness Be Turned Down?

A couple of patches ago I noticed that everything had become sharper on my EDO graphics - sort of like overdoing the Photoshop smart sharpen filter. Is there any way to turn this down? I've tried Reshade but it just muddies the edges - is there perhaps a config setting somewhere that controls sharpness? I can't find anything in the in game settings. Looking forward to AA enhancements too

There's a setting for sharpness in Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3D Settings, Global Settings that works with DSR.

This is the superior suggestion, as you don't need to use your eyelid muscles, mine is the budget version though (unless you can borrow some glasses)

Yes, the sharpening of FSR can be individually toned down via one of the INI files. @Morbad explained elsewhere, others may know the exact file too.

I do what they used to do in Star Trek the Original Series when they needed a soft focus: either smear your screen with Vaseline or put a stocking over the screen. To be serious - i will look for the sharpening option in the Nvid control panel. Its a little too sharp for me also.
