General Can there be an increase in payout for Odyssey ground missions

I would love to play Odessey more however, it just does not pay for the time committed.

This post is to ask FDEV to look at this.

I see it as one of the main reasons people do not engage with Odessey mechanics as much as the traditional game.

Increase (double?) the payout and It becomes a viable game mechanic.

Well, if you're grinding for a Fleet Carrier you're going to think twice about spending time on foot in Odyssey.

There you are, Dinbar, you can cite me! :D

Yeah honestly, the only reason I do Odyssey missions is for the fun of it and for the materials.
The pay was immediately uninteresting to me. I can make plenty more credits in far less time doing simple bounty hunting in a Res zone around some planet rings or something.

I did not find yet new defend cargo missions (Odyssey), but there is only combat in on-foot High CZs where you can get some decent money. Rest of Odyssey missions payments is barely enough for buying consumables and hand weapons. And yes, for buy small ships it can be used, but thats all. It feels however 'little' weird how much more vs the same time you can get from ships missions, or bounty hunting (it's practically incomparable and even more makes painfully visible that Horizons and Odyssey are two different games with very little crossplay).

Mainly personal viewpoint  however, I have seen it mentioned on the forums several times. I also think that many people are motivated by profit. Why not increase engagement by making it more cost-effective. Nothing to lose in my eyes. I dont see balance as an issue either as the weekly CG's pump enough additional credits into the economy.

I do everything for the fun. One thing I have to say, if you are playing a game and indeed not enjoying it, maybe you shouldn't be playing that particular game? Not in particular reference to ED you understand, just any game, I mean who on earth would play a game they weren't enjoying?

The new protection missions frequently pay 1.3 million+... that's plenty.

I don't get the whole obsession with credits being the only measure of success or enjoyment in this game. If players are going to determine if something is good purely by the amount of credits earned, why do they do anything other than mining??
