Can this harm thargoids?(convential massive dps.)

This is the hypothetical maximum dps in game as far as I can tell. It's not alot of ammo and basically pointless to keep the premium ammo on for the 3kdps mark(it's 2400dps with normal ammo. and approx 1000 sustained dps.), but could this rip into thargoids effectively. They are a large dinner plate. I would think this could do well if it doesn't simply negate the damage somehow.

BTW, I'm primarily referring to the weapons. The rest is just there to be there. I'm not aware of what they do enough to know yet.

Or are the numbers in inflated from the speed of the shots?

Not my video but this is the weapon setup in practice. Just not the same ship or gun amounts.

Not much on this type of build. Let alone against thargoids.

From the stats alone I thought G5 Sturdy Rail Guns were better then the Guardian Gauss Cannons.
They do diddly against the Interceptors though.

You really need the special weaponry that's got the "Can Hurt Thargoid Ships" bit flagged on in it's hidden specs.

Thargoid Interceptors are completely immune to any weapons that aren't specifically Anti-Xeno or Guardian. Some people say it sucks, and I want to agree, but I bet they'd be hard to balance if any weapons could be used. With a grand total of 5 weapons that can be used against them (6 if you count the flak), it's much simpler to balance and I have to say they did a pretty good job. Sucks that you still need groups for anything better than a cyclops 1.5 years on, but at least the experience is really good.

If you want to go for Thargoid scouts, you'll CRUSH them. They aren't immune to regular weapons, but they get very high resistances against all human weapons, meaning a decent pilot would probably still do better with AX/Guardian weapons, which slice through them like butter... but with that much DPS, I kinda want to hear how it goes.

We have people solo killing Hydra’s. You don’t need to group up for any Interceptor.

I was using AX MCs on scouts, but they were missing a surprising amount of the time (despite the reticle being dead on them). I switched to efficient beams, and since they seem to hit the target more consistently, I'm taking out scouts in about the same amount of time, and no running out of ammo!
