Can we close a zoo?

Just wondering if anyone tried closing their zoo. Just temporarily.

I'm thinking I will build a bare bones zoo until I get enough cash and research done to build my dream zoo. My hope is to close the zoo so all the guests leave and I can demolish/build the zoo, then reopen it.

Did anyone try this in beta? Is it possible?

Yes, you can do so, and the people will leave. Note, that in bigger zoos it takes a while for the people to leave.

Yes I had to close mine for months due to a bug with an escaped animal that couldnt be boxed and had to wait for it to die and the bones to decay before I could reopen it. And it happened twice lol

I've been looking to do the same thing- how do you close your zoo temporarily? I've been looking at the zoo entrance (where you set ticket prices) and haven't seen anything.

On the Zoo tab, there is a slider switch to open/close the zoo
