Can we fix the graphic bugs of plants?

A sort of stencil shadow being applied as soon as the player get near to it and visibly changing the plant's lighting. I suspect it might be more related to the various lighting/shadow issues than being a thing about plants in particular.

Will you encounter this problem?

Will you encounter this problem?

"Will you encounter this problem?" is asking me if I have intention to encounter this problem at some point in the future, the right form in this case would be " Did you encounter this problem?", asking me if I encountered this problem at some point in the past.

Explaining all that because even though I get the humour of English natives pulling your leg a bit ("pulling your leg"="mocking") by taking your sentences literally, as a non native I also get the struggle of getting myself understood in a language I'm not familiar with. ;)

That said, there are so many issues with shadows and lighting currently in the game, that I might as well have seen that but not paid it attention. I'll make sure to check for that whenever I get near a plant.

Indeed. And that good fortune extends to everyone really, else the game would be in the pub right now with me!

Are you sure you two didn't have a pub night already? Odyssey still looks pretty wasted in places. 🤭

I beg to differ:

Definition of pull someone's leg

informal
: to make someone believe something that is not true as a joke : to trick or lie to someone in a playful way

This is not mocking.

Actually, what we are doing is:

Definition of banter

: good-natured and usually witty and animated joking

This is also not mocking.

Definition of mock

transitive verb
1: to treat with contempt or ridicule

Example of Mocking:

"Hey, OP, what do you think? Dumb much, eh?"

This was not done. This is against forum rules. This should be reported if you believe this is what is happening. Calling out banter as mocking is anti-social and not acceptable and may result in responses you do you expect or desire.

Please get with the (good humoured) program!

There are currently so many issues that are more breaking that this. Yes - this happens with most flora. I guess I have filtered it out.

Check the issue tracker and open a new issue if you can't find one already. With all the other things that are currently not yet confirmed, I doubt it will make much traction.

That's not my leg...

Cheque, please!

By the way, just got near an Electricae, it does exactly the same thing as in the OP video. Not even idea if it's actually some kind of shadow or just a LOD glitch.
