So yea, I'm trying to Trade up to a Type7 while the Boom is still going on in LHS 3447, but I've just been set back a good million or so credits.

As I was boosting to station I went into my screen to request docking, came back out, boosted again and I just exploded.

I rock shields and there was nothing directly in my way as well as playing solo, so why would I blow up? I'd really like to know but I haven't the foggiest clue.

EDIT: Just did a test run, one boost after another didn't even put my heat above 55% so I didn't overheat.

Happening to quite a few ... A bug which devs are trying to get to grips with through telemetry. Ticket it and provide as much info as possible about your position when it occurred is the request...

I can't imagine why you would but it has been mentioned in similar threads that if you boost.... boost with gear down BOOM! I have no idea as to the validity of this.

Happened to me too, yesterday with my shiny new Asp.

Had just gotten permission to dock and was outside on my way into a Coriolis station when all of a sudden, my shields dropped and my hull damage went to 70%. Thankfully I didn't blow up.

Nothing on radar. Had a clear path in. Nothing near the mail slot. All was quiet.

I puzzled and puzzled until my puzzler was sore.
A little miffed that I had to spend 50000cr on repairs for nothing.
