Can we get a "debugging mode" toggle option?

Can we possibly get a "debugging mode" toggle option so if things start to happen, we can start it with a key press combo.

Several times if something happens, if you log off, make changes to enable verbose logging and then log back in, the error does not happen again.

We have the locked Ctrl+F, Ctrl+B for Framerate and Bandwidth, can we get one like Ctrl+L to start a log, and Ctrl+Shift+L to end. Maybe even open the folder when the log is stopped so we can copy and paste it as needed?

There is "one option" that I'd like to bring on the "hot keys" - distance to the target and the speed of flight.
So that it appears like the frame rate in the corner (probably right).
This option is useful during movement to the object, when we cannot see the instrument panel: Galnet, galaxy map, system map, "debug camera mode" and in all other cases, when we fly "in the blind".

This thread is to create a keybind to output to a text file outside the game so when something goes wrong it gathers data for bug reports, not for something visible in the game, other then maybe a notification that it is recording. Verbose logging can record so much that it can lower game perfomance, that was it is useful to be able to turn on the recording when something goes wrong, and not constant.

This would be an amazing addition. The logging around crashes (instancing combat lockup for example) is very minimal and I can't see how the current logs would be useful at all for debugging.
