Can we get a dev response regarding this CG already?

Hi all,

There is more information to follow on this Community Goal soon, make sure to keep your eyes on the GalNet news panel!

Thanks,

Woot, so there's hopes this trucking stretch was actually good for something! \o/
*hint hint*

(Considering the raging that arised in the active community goals thread just after that CG finished, this post came just in the right time! Maybe a bit too late tho ;) )

Brett don't know if this is the best place to report this, but players are arriving in Heike to find only 1 tonne of tea available. Has the supply system not been prepared again? Or is each player expected to sit there and wait each time they visit the station to get their full 8T allocation?

I suspect there is no suitable place to report this because FD don't care one iota.

I'm holding off this one for a bit, at least until we have a projected target for completion.

With the distance between Bast & Heike and the low commodity availability I doubt if anybody will be able to ship more than 16 tonnes per hour, for the meds I was able to ship 1,600 per hour so the possible yield here is just 1% of the previous CG. That CG had a target of 2.5 million, for this to be possible the final target should be well under 50,000, around 20,000 to 30,000 would be best. If it is over 50,000 then it has been set to fail and I would suggest a complete boycott.

Ah, got to love some of the downers people are on.

Turn that frown upside down bro!

Sorry, I should have said:

"I suspect there is no suitable place to report this because FD apparently don't care one iota"

Judging by the number of requests for clarification and general questions about CGs posed since the Abres mining CG and comparing it to the number of replies from FD it's hard to come to any other conclusion.

I think its more like the Cylons in the Sci-Fi channels reboot of the series.

"They have a plan"... we just won't find out what it is until the last episode of the last season :D

Did it ever occure to you the devs want the CG to fail so they can pretend the story line is organic with player actions?
No? Just me?
Seems to me they set impossible standards while everyone else is out PPing. They offer no rewards so obviously very few will participate.
This smells like they want to fake organic story line by stacking the odds in favor of a specific direction. They know exactly what they're doing.

Edit;
Or yes, may be UA related

This, very much this. The recent actions surrounding the current rares CG and the presence of Michael Brookes himself at Bast and Heike seems to support the theory that us achieving succes with the Bast CG was NOT the way it was 'supposed' to go.
We shall see. My prediction is that if the current rares CG does not meet tier 8 then the result will be 'too little meds' and more plague spreading. If that happens, I will know that Frontier just wants to play out their scenario rather than having an actual story. They'll find a way to get the Thargoids in. I just hope it's going to be a way that feels legit, and not a way that is overly obvious in that it ignores the communities efforts.

Sure, the stations involved with the CG's are asking for help. You're doing this to help stop the disease. You wouldn't want to gouge the sick would you? While they are defenseless? That called profiteering, and is generally frowned upon in good society.
I have to pay 100 euros a month for my medication. Then another 50 euros a month for medication that my insurance will 'pay for' via my "Own Risk" amount.
Profiteering is very real in good society.
This is the Netherlands btw, not USA.

I wonder...

At least that would explain 5 tons per citizen.
To be inserted rectally? xD
