Can we get an official statement on the delay of 2.3 and 2.4?

The topic was completely avoided at Gamescon and so far from what I can see here in the forums.

FD are clearly behind schedule and that is ok. We want a well polished update. However setting expectations as vague and as WIDE as Summer, Fall etc are acceptable if you hit those targets. It is clear you will not be hitting those targets now so can we can a little better of an estimation for the remaining updates?

Can you clarify whether a Season is 1 year or more? Because people will want to know what they are paying for if you want to try and sell a season 3..

I would celebrate if we would get an answer along the line "we rather want to give you quality and decided to take more time". I would even still celebrate that if it would cost us 2.3 and its features would be moved into the next season.

Please provide a link to the schedule as stated by FD.

Well, at least they arent as vague as sean murrey :p

but i live 1 update at the time, looking forward to 2.2. And not really thinking about 2.3 tbh.

i also dont mind if we have to wait till next summer for 2.4.. whatever its gonna be.

The store page said summer for 2.2 fall 2.3 and no date for 2.4 until they announced the delay for 2.1. for half year there was schedule on the store page both in frontier store and on steam. The steam store had the old schedule even couple moths ago and was changed after someone posted that steam still have old plan on some thread discussing if 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 get delayed.

The delay is okey but frontier should give new timeline.

2.3 and 2.4 are delayed because of 2.2

We have no idea if their development is also behind schedule or not. I suspect 2.3 will be this year and 2.4 next year

Like I said - for it being late is ok . I am certainly not complaining about the delays as I've never seen a software company deliver perfectly on time. I am ok with the delays. I would just like to know what the updates roadmap is now that it has changed.

As I thought - the OP's statement that they are 'behind schedule' isn't based on current data.

Its based on the only data or schedule that frontier have given. Also when they said that 2.1 is going to be delayed people asked if 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 get delayed and frontier said no they won't be delayed, but clearly they have been delayed on what they promised. Which isn't bad thing but they should at least give new schedule.
