Can we have a Lakon Spaceways CG?

I heard the company is hearing bids from Core Dynamics and while I like CD ships, Lakon should remain Lakon. I'd like to see a CG on behalf of Lakon and we can save the company and bring it to solvency.

How about no. Lakon's basic design philosophy is : take a box, strap some engines to it and put a greenhouse on the front as a cockpit/bridge. Even with something as simple as that they still managed to foul it up at least twice (T6 and T7 both fractionally too tall to fit in the landing pads that they otherwise appear to be designed for)

How about this for an end-game credit sink:

CMDRs are called on to donate credits to Lakon, in order to guarantee their future independence. Donations can be lodged at <wherever>; donations will be closed when the total reaches <insane total>, or after one week, whichever comes first.

Should this donation drive reach certain defined tiers, contributors will receive the specified tier reward, including at top tier a new, exclusive Alliance vessel that may or may not resemble the Panther Clipper. This ship will not be available for purchase through normal channels.
