Probably not, considering the whole "trademark" thing, not to mention the care with which FDev have taken adding alien species to the game. If you want to deal with a crystalline entity, I suggest you go play Star Trek Online. It's free to play, and I seem to recall it having a number of quests related to that creature.
I’m curious as to why you’re asking for that when we don’t fully understand the Thargoids yet. I’m not knocking your request and I do think it would be cool to see more things like that but I didn’t even consider it lol.
