Can we make life simpler and change 'C3' weapons description to 'S3' and "C2" to "S2"?

Not true. For example, class 1 beam lasers gimbal and fixed are both graded at E and turrets are graded at F.

It doesn't matter what they're rated, if you just grasp that turreted are 1 level weaker than gimbal, which are 1 level weaker than fixed of the same level you're good to go.

So, a class E gimballed is actually a class F fixed.

Not hard to grasp.

Not hard to understand that there aren't every single grade of each class weapon (example: no grade A or B of class 3 lasers) either.
