Can we please get an attitude indicator on landing pads?

I like big ships and it gets frustrating when you can't land because you're angle is a smidge off, or you slap your nose/tail into the landing pad because everything turns on the cockpit and not center of mass/geometry. Can we please just get a little indicator that tells us if we are level with the pad. all it needs it nose up/level/nose down and cant left/level/cant right.

Edit: On further review, I don't THINK that you turn based on the cockpit. But the turning sure doesn't feel right on a lot of these ships.

That same indicator as we have on planet surfaces? Yeah, could be nice to have. Just make it appear earlier. The time when the radar hologram is replaced with the landing pad hologram would be fine.

Wow next you will want vector indication rather than the "magic space dust" !

But jokes aside, altitude for landing would be very nice .

I know when I am at ground level when I hear a clunk and my shields disappears, then I just have to clunk a few more times as I wiggle around before I find level, what's the problem? :)

Yeah an indicator, like when landing on a surface, would be nice :)

Attitude not altitude, we already have a height off the pad figure. :p

It's been a while since I paid attention to the landing HUD but for some reason I think there's some kind of horizon indicator somewhere. Maybe I'm thinking of planet landing.
