The current Conflict Zones are pretty lame when you think about it. A bunch of respawning enemies in a big empty room? That's, like, pre-alpha levels of game design. That's what you expect to see from a game before they've started designing their actual levels.
Why not have some conflict zones in different places? For example, in asteroid fields; not like those are being used for anything else atm.
Or in rings. Or around installations. Or just above planet surfaces.
Any of these options could make conflict zones a lot more interesting with minimal effort.
