Various reasons why I want gene modification to be more effective.
1: Strong defensive Dinosaur with extra dominance losing alpha status to unmodified Dinosaurs and consequently fighting non stop trying to regain it like its release day all over again. Experienced this with Nacutoceratops Iguanadon Dracorex and Qianzhousaurus.
Suggestion. Buff strong/defensive to +50% and make higher stats more meaningful.
2. Dinosaurs with the humble trait still need massive amounts of space. 7 humble Archionithimimus and 2 humble Iguanadon alone took up more space than my T Rex.
Suggestion: decrease herbivore territory across the board. Also make humble reduce open space and forest requirements by 15% per gene point used.
3. Tolerance trait only allows for cohabitation with one additional species even if those species are a single individual. Pterosaurs are the worst offenders here although I just discovered Parasaurolophus to be another problem species.
Suggestion. Rework all tolerance requirements. Carnivores shouldn't like one another and Herbivores shouldn't hate species they would likely have shared territory with. Also make cross species trait more effective.
4. Social. This one is just awful. If it's negative it almost seems like it'd be better because it cuts down on the requirements and as a result enclosure size. However it can't be reduced and a change in either direction comes with a very inconvenient increase to dominance.
Suggestion. Completely remove dominance from the trait and allow us to tweak it in both directions.
