Hi Frontier - since the last update - there seems to be an issue with transport - and this is why I keep harping on about a large capacity cable ( I stress ) cable gondola system like Planco - to help get rid of the immense crowd blockages that happen when you have a zoo with one entrance and people have to get from that entrance area to another area of the park not connected by pathways, to give the guests another experience on a ride to cheer their day. So the guest have to use - (or not - as the photos show) - the transport options in game at present to get to the animals - way over the other side of the large lake in this case . . .
I had a boat station with the 'full load' option clicked and still - the guests would not fill the last two rows of seats and mostly only half filled the boats anyway; on the low capacity boat ride. There was a train station almost next to the boat dock and the guests would not even use the train. And even when I closed the boat, the peeps just backed up like eager lemmings into a crushing amoeba mass of digital peep flesh with arm flailing flagella - and the resulting alien mass, or peepgella, would not even use the train to disperse. It just kept growing . . .
The only way to get the resulting xenopeep creature to even move was to build a one kilometre path to the zoo resort, shopping and entrance area - way over yonder - and I wanted it with the entrance way over yonder for aesthetic and design purposes before people say put another entrance in.
Please see these photos.
And here is the train station almost next door to the boat station . . .
So the only option I had was to build a stupidly long path to connect the animal exhibits to the resort complex at the entrance of my zoo - and before anyone says 'you can have multiple entrances - i know - but did not want that for i wanted a resort, shopping and dining area connected to the animals via transport rides.
The stupidly long path . . .
CABLE - CABLE CAR GONDOLA PLEASE, to protect us all from xenopeeps - thank you G
