Can we reduce the guests?

I was wondering if we could limit the amount of guests in alpha 2 to avoid the lagging issue most people have? As this is annoying and ruins the game play for me, its not nice to ride a coaster with a slight lag [down]

Also tried reducing resolution? For me in many games lowering resolution does way more then lowering graphics.

It would be pretty neat to control attendance levels.
1. Simulation Purpose - Try different numbers to see how if affects different aspects of the park.
2. Ease the load of computers, if helpful.

Well My PC specs are above the requirements to run the game, but still the CPU is at 97% and Ive heard many people with very high spec getting the same issue. the lag is not really bad but bad enough to ruin the game, My specs are.....

Geforce GTX950
I7 2600K 3.4 GHZ
16GB RAM
WINDOWS 7

Can anyone tell me if these specs should cause lag, because according to Planet Coaster they shouldnt cause any lag issues.

Haven't a clue what's going on but I can run the game at a solid 30fps on medium with the following specs:

Sapphire HD6950 2GB
Intel i5 3570K
12GB Ram
Windows 10

Mine is far below what I thought would allow this be playable, I was looking and still am looking to upgrade but I have had some very full parks. Also 99% CPU usage all the time is actually the game being smart and stealing all your CPU and then using what it needs, it does not equate to lag unless obviously the game needs 110% lol

Maybe that would sound like a good idea. The option to decrease and increase the population count.
Late last month I decided to invest and get a custom gaming PC. Sure it set me back NZ$2500, but it has Intel's best CPU (6th gen Intel Core i7 6700k) and Sapphire Nitro AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB GPU. It can handle this game on 1080p maxed settings at around 25-59fps (average 30fps on heavily detailed map with 2800 population), The Sims 4 on ultra settings 1080p @ 60fps, and Cities Skylines on maxed settings at 40-100fps.
I suggest to players who love this game to invest or have a PC which can play this game on 1080p High settings easily. That way you can enjoy the full flavour of this game. Sure it may set you back some $$$$, but people who pay the $$$$ will get to enjoy the full flavour of it. You reap what you sow. Sure it's only in Alpha stage and the game isn't optimized fully yet.

No drivers release for the game and people are already complaining about fps. Good times...

60fps all day on my 980TI at 1440p no issues here
