Can we sell exploration data at Jacques

Not been out to Jacques station for a while and last time we could not sell any data, can we now? as thinking about taking a trip out again

Yes, I just stopped there a few days ago and sold off nearly a months worth of exploration data.

Yes you can. You can even sell it at the refueling stations along the way and hit ally with Colonia Council before you're there.

I arrived late Friday night after being out for almost 4 weeks. Made a cool 40M CR and jumped a rank to 31% Pioneer.

Then I did a day trip out to one of the nearby clouds (roughly 1,500 LY away) and netted another 4M CR just for that (and 35% Pioneer).

Exploration is strange sometimes.

For those running the refuelling station route and want to feel like a kid in a candy store, there are a three decent sized black hole clusters, about 400 total black holes, within about 1,000 ly from Sacaqawea...

Also keep in mind that the road between Hilary Depot and Quince is a very well trod road, I hit very few first discoveries between them so it may pay better to go a less predictable route and skip Hillary Depot altogether.

That makes me wonder... What if I was allied with the Station before there were other factions out there after the repair Jaques Station CG? Does the "faction" still exist, and/or did ranking with it carry over?

Edit: OK, after checking the system map, it looks like I'm allied with the "Jaques" faction.

Selling to jaques keeps his influence out there as more minor factions move in. It will create a zone of stability and keep the player factions honest and competitive.

And it still maintains a good beachhead for exploration of deeper regions

I sold 44M CR in exploration data there over the weekend - 40M from my trip out there (via the Core and the roof of the galaxy), and 4M from a day trip to the clouds nearby.

I consider Jaques to be Explorer Central.

Yeah, you can definitely sell data at Jaques. And good thing, too ... Jaques is right on the edge of one of the neutron fields, and those are total cash cows.
