Can you get fragments from mining on ice asteroids?

Will you get anything when you mine on icy rings/belts, or is it a rare but possible thing?

AFAIK you can't, they mentioned in a newsletter that the laser only works on rocky asteroids.

Right now, ice mining is not implemented.

Ice crystals... Which unfortunatley melt from the heat of the mining laser.
