Can you guys make it less miserable to be Elite at something?

I became Elite at something Murder-esque and now NPC's try and pull me out of supercruise a ludicrous number of times even on short jaunts back from (I was going to say vacation but I'll be honest it was one of my; completely unmerited, hourly trips to prison....).

Requesting that the Punishment for becoming Elite at something be turned down about 90%.

I've been Elite in combat since January 2019 and I have never seen anything like this. Do you have a mission with incoming enemies still live?

Usually the chain interdiction like this are caused by cargo, or other, missions that have enemies... Check your messages for notification of incoming enemies... These usually accompany Threat Level 8 missions.

I am Elite or better in 4 categories and have never had serial interdictions by anything other than Thargoids outside of a mission even cargo doesn’t get to ludicrous levels. So it is unlikely to be your Elite status unless it happens for being Elite at shooting people while on foot.

So missions, cargo or maybe you are still the subject of bounties these interdictors are trying to earn.

Your rank has no effect on whether you get attacked by anything. The only thing it affects is what rank of ships attack you. As your combat rank increases, the rank of mission-spawned and other intercepting ships increases also.

If ships keep attacking you, it's either because you've got a bounty on you (check your transactions), you're doing missions that send attackers after you, or you're carrying some "tasty" cargo.

Seems that the interdictions have dropped back to normal. I know it wasn't bounties i clear them immediately, hence, My hourly trips to prison. This same thing happened to me when i became Elite in Cargo hauling. I couldnt jump back and forth between two systems without 1-3 gank attempts upon me. I stopped hauling cargo because of it. This is confusing...
