Ship Builds & Load Outs Can you help give me some ideas for a combat Krait & combat FdL?

I threw together some quick builds for both the Krait and FdL, with pulse lasers, multi-cannons, and plasma accelerator. I really suck with the plasma accelerator though, and it felt like a waste of a hardpoint. I got more done ignoring the plasma accelerator, and sticking with the lasers and multi cannons. I had some fun in conflict zones and HazRES, but I want to get the most out of those 2 ships.

What are viable alternatives to the plasma accelerator, since I suck at hitting arguing with them? I tried the rail gun, but ammo capacity is limited and I ran out quickly.

I've never had any specialized combat ships. Can you help me with some builds, and ideas for engineering, and experimental effects?
 
Try 1 x class 3 efficient and 2 x class 2 efficient gimballed beams for shield stripping and 2 OC gimballed class 3 MC for hull, for experimental effects thermal vent on the beams is useful for dumping heat or oversized for a little more DPS the MC effects 1 corrosive and 1 incendiary.

Another approach is 5 x efficient gimballed pulse with phasing sequence experimental(damages the hull through the shields) not huge DPS but effective against heavily shielded targets.

Shielding is really down to personal choice I use bi-weave resistance builds but reinforced high capacity + SCB's are fine if you prefer that approach, try using the fighter with a decent pilot it can make a noticeable difference especially against wings of smaller ships or larger ships with SLF capability.
