General / Off-Topic Can you imagine playing ED in one of these?

Do those using the rift get any vertigo or motion sickness ?

You mean playing Elite?.. It's quite easy to get motion sickness in Half Life 2. The sit-down nature of Elite really helps keep those queasy stomachs at bay, although it's difficult to tell if I'd just developed my VR legs by the time I played E: D.

I did manage a bit of a stomach churn once when I was in the cockpit. An NPC had shot out one of my control jets and I was whipping around uncontrollably. To be fair, the game was simulating a situation which would've been a definite lunch-loser in real life.

I was getting pretty queezy every time I took on several well paid missions, thinking I'd scored big, only to find the program crashing as soon as I tried to leave the station.

But that was easily solved. :D
