Can you reset your character?

Well, just for ****s and giggles I'm toying with the idea of throwing away my 9 million and doing something different from the very start.

Is there an easy way to reset my financial situation to 1000cr and a sidewinder?

...or do I have to buy ships full of gold and crash them until I'm broke?

There is an option to "Reset Save" or something along those terms in the game menu.

EDIT: Oh my yes, that was... very obvious. How have I not ever noticed that before..? Maybe you only see what you want to see, what you are looking for? Now I feel like a goofball for asking an overly obvious question.

Awesome! - I love doing the same every now and again. (It's the reason I have 2100+ hours in Skyrim)

Only reason I haven't done it yet in this Beta, is that I have a few guildmates desperate for money, so I want to buy & drop some gold for them - But we have not gotten the group thing working.

Well... I just figured.. y'know...

I worked my way up to 6 million or so. I did the trading thing. It wasn't very challenging. I sold it all and got a Viper and started playing around in the warzones but there's no risk when I can buy the ship back 500 times over. Thanks to a bug (ticketed) I suddenly had 9.5 million for no good reason. So yes, now what?

I need to struggle a little to be happy. It's nice to be back in the little sidey, where I can talk to the bobble head. Managed to get up to 16,000 credits now, blasting Eranin ships out of the sky. Almost time for an upgrade that I can't afford to lose over and over. Yay!

This one is clearly deranged. Quickly call the men in white coats and take him away to where his infliction won't spread.

(truth be told, I'm probably going to do something similar, though I'm keeping my millions so i can buy pretty shiny things that go boom!! mwahahaha (rubs hands together).
