From the materials I'm guessing rocks got shot by a buggy. Sorry I don't have a giant neutral face emoji link handy so you'll have to imagine it.

The only use to such quantities of Iron and Nickel would be to level up an engineer imo... Don't know about "Technetium" though

Assuming you're going to use those materials to spam G1 upgrades, I think it is a bad idea. G3 to G5 alone (from paying the weapon effects favor) costs 108 G1's, and your metals will only be good for 4-5 favors. If you plan to mass engineer your weapons, use your existing materials and search only those that are missing for G3 and G4 recipes across all available blueprints. Hours ago I bought stock lasers, farmed for 20+ technetium, bought required commodities, farm the rest and G5 upgrade (with very good results) all 7 of my lasers (including effects) in one fell swoop, in just 6 hours.
