All,

Can you trade engineering materials with other players? I need 8 - 12 Polymer Capacitors.

I got:

12 - Configurable Components
16 - Core Dynamic Composites
2- Imperial Shielding
10 - Proprietary Composites
16 - Refined Focus Crystals

Anybody want to trade? One for one for anything on my list(if somehow possible)

Question: When I picked these up I got multiple per scope. If drop them for someone else, will he be able to scope just one?

Can you detail to me how to do this solo without getting blown to pieces by all of the anti-faction at once? I tried luring one away, but I was jumped by many before I could complete the job. Even then, I don't think I could of scooped( I'm a slow scooper). Besides, that's a major negative return for me. Insurance costs are like 12 million war bucks.

To do it solo you'll need a well engineered ship, also it's easier in a high CZ where the cap ship will cover you.

The easiest thing to do is to find a buddy with a ship that can survive a CZ. They pick a side and make the kills. You don't and make sure you're not even winged up. Then you can just cruise in their wake scooping in complete safety.

Ok, apparently when you jettison materials, they just disappear. What kind of crap is that?

So now I ask for an Elite combat specialist to meet me at a CZ to plunder and murder so I can scoop up the polymer capacitors. I can reward with the above materials. Anybody interested?

I'd help but I'm chasing Thargoids atm. Also in Australia so unlikely to instance. Still wondering how you'll reward materials when you can't jettison them though. ;)

Oh yeah, my bad. I'm fill up my cargo hold with the commodity of your choice equal to or less than 1 million.

I don't think they're Thargoids, they may be Gaurdians. BTW, how do you know where to look?


Anybody else looking for a cool million? I just figured out I can load up with 149 tons of Consumer Technology for your efforts...

Didn't I already mention that?

Anyway you can also get Poly Caps from USS in Anarchy systems. It's been a while but I think it's Encoded that produces them.
