Can you zoom all the way out in the Galaxy map so you can see all of the galaxy?

The title says it all.

If there any way to zoom all the way out so you can see the entire galaxy at once instead of having to use the W, S, D & A keys to move around to different parts of the galaxy?

yes, absolutely... do it all the time.
In fact i'm not sure how you can use the galmap without being able to zoom?

The way I do it is to rotate the view so that you are looking down on the Galaxy, and then max zoom out. In VR you can see the whole Galaxy.

Contrary to what a couple of people in this thread have stated, the answer is no. You cannot zoom out far enough to view the entire galaxy at once. The zoom cannot go above or below certain planes (magnification). Even the galaxy map in the GMP was only created by stitching images together.

The yes answers are all clearly either from VR users, where you can see it all with minimal head movement, something I myself have directly experienced, or people who like me, if they want to see it all, tilt the axis, fitting more into the screen but losing the ability to see it all from a direct perspective.
