Welcome Racers! To the first ever Candyballers, Smokey and the Space Bandit Enduro! This race will involve your resolve and determination to deliver your oh so sweet cargo to the finish line in your “big rig” without those pesky cops (Smokey) pulling you over as you cross system lines with your illicit goods. The race is a two-parter in that, Space Bandits are racing against each other to be first across the line at the destination station for the win. But watch out, Smokey is patrolling the checkpoint systems where you pick up your ever increasing tonnage of goods. It's up to the Bandits to have more of their team finish than it is for the Smokeys to pull over with their dreaded interdictors. So don't get caught and keep trucking!
Our Bandits will be allowed to use Medium pad or lower class ships to escort their hauler which is limited to Large pad ships. Bandits can only be in a wing of 2. Our Smokeys on the other hand will be using Small pad ships only, with the exception of the ASP Explorer, they are allowed to be in a wing of up to 3.
Our Bandits will be going from system to system picking up rare goods for a big party in Irusan but bringing them means you have to cross system lines and we don't want to pay extra fees for that.
Our Bandits have to evade Smokey who must interdict you and cargo scan you. If they are Successful you must submit and are out of the race, however, you can fight, but run the risk of annihilation, as Smokey must only disable your drives. Bandit Haulers cannot be armed but their escorts can be, and they are to run interference. They can interdict Smokeys in kind and pave the way for their hauler wingmate, as well as fight for them in the event they are interdicted.
The Race starts in Kongga at the Laplace Ring station where you pick up your first haul, the rest is listed below.
