So i was doing passenger missions today, and went to refuel at a space dock in Jardonnere. I was closest to the space dock Kovalevekaya Prospect, and thought, i'll land and refuel here. However when i Went to go land and request a docking permission, i rammed into something going 340! Luckily my shields held with about a quarter of a ring left. At first i thought i had hit a ship, but no-one was on radar, then i thought i must've hit one of the black square things that i saw floating around some outposts. However, what i found instead was some VERY TINY STARS!
Interestingly, they fade at certain angles, and all of them activate the proximity warning.
When i finally decided to land, i think i also got stuck in a cluster of them too, and had to wrench myself free. This could just be a bug thou, as i crashed before seeing this, however i was not inside or near the station when i crashed. I was in the nearby visitor beacon.
Tiny star with nearby planet as background.

Me ramming one, as proof that they are actual objects (that don't seem to move).
