Cannot chat in game... enter key does not work.

Cannot chat in game... enter/return keys don't work. It used to work. It works outside the game. I think i screwed with some key binding but I cannot find where to fix this.

Thanks for any help from other cmdrs!

EDIT : I can enter the comm panel and type my text... but pressing the enter/return keys does not send the message.

Edit 2 : for some reason it works now... ???? nevermind guys

have been issues with chat, try a relog to the Server before anything else.

I dont know of any chat settings that would affect that though in-game, but no idea at all how any other device would interfere with it

Does it work OK if you open the comms panel first - i.e. 2 key or UI Up?

There is a bind for Enter opens text panel - not in game at the moment so can't check it, sorry.

Yes I can enter the comm panel and enter text. But it does not send the message when I press enter or return keys

you have to hit return to type something in the first place don't make sense to me as its the same key as enter the text field

Very strange - I know this is not the same thing but do you have Enter assigned as in this?

Then you can check to see if pressing Enter has an effect (i.e. opening the quick comms) when in normal view.
