Cannot complete missions

Hey, I've just finished doing the same mission with a friend where we both have to kill David Bamber. We got our locations and found him, killed him where I was able to complete the mission but my friend was not. We found him again and my friend still could not complete the mission. Why is this stuff so broken?

Yessir, I let him finish the second one off. Thing is I've done duel missions with another friend and it worked fine, we both got the kill. I had this happen to me before trying to kill an Orca. Killed her a handful of times and would not complete.

I've seen a bugged orca a couple of times. He's not even fighting. Don't take those chap kill missions.
Also, did the mission "narrow down" to one system? May have to get that to trigger first in order to complete.
