Cannot connect to matchmaking server - Then please find a way to remember my route plan!!!

I really do understand the server difficulties and that it can drop every now and then but it's so frustrating to be scouring the galaxy map for ages, find a route and plot it and then have it wiped because I'm kicked out of the game due to server problems. I put up with the game's faults without complaint because some things just happen but it's been asked for ages now to be able to keep our planned routes once the game is exited. Sorry for the rant, but when you're exploring thousands of lys out, have a route planned and set, just to be kicked out of the game it gets really frustrating. I don't want to have to physically write down the name of the system i've chosen to travel to in the off chance that the game might crash. We're in the 34th century aren't we?!

I totally agree. From my perspective, the Galaxy Map is probably the most important tool in the game. It sits at the core and the game wouldn't be possible without it. It's another example of the incredible power within the game that has not reached its full potential. In my view it's a little humorous that we should even be here talking about lost routes, or even lost systems.

All the new things coming this year have me very excited but it is somewhat held back by the missing essentials from the game, ie the underdeveloped Galaxy Map. It's the little things that count.
