Cannot download Saitek X52 drivers (Win 7 64 bit)

Just got the stick (Merry Birthmas to me!), and most everything works great, but a few buttons I'd like to change (disable clutch mode, for instance) and the mouse doesn't work. The profiler crashes after a few clicks. Everyone says to download the latest, but every attempt to get the latest driver from the Saitek site gives me a "This webpage is not available", "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET".

Can anyone else access it? I can't figure why it would be only bad for me. I don't suppose there's another legitimate site for those drivers, is there? And I've sent a strongly worded tweet to @SaitekSim about it.

Same thing. I tried every variation I could think of, and trying higher up in the directory, but still the same thing.

Here you go. Both the drivers and profile software is included.

If it helps at all I think the error is because you are behind a proxy that might not like FTP servers.

Fantastic, THANK YOU! 2016 is saved!!!

Ya, I have a feeling this is some sort of stupid ISP issue, whether blocking FTP or a routing that is screwed up. I'm sure I don't have it blocked on my end.

Thanks very much Tiamat!

My pleasure! I have an x52 Pro myself and it is a joy to use so happy to help a fellow x52 user out :)

This is where I got the drivers for my X52. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit;

http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php

The links off that page go to the FTP server Rinceuk and I linked which was the problem. Quite why they can't just use HTTP links is a mystery but then it isn't the first time I have seen this setup for drivers.

There is a problem on Windows 10 64 Bit, via Chrome downloading directly from the Saitek Website, Edge works fine, may just be Microsoft dictating again.

Well, that link worked for me (I checked it before posting it up).

Well, my joy is short-lived with this "joy"stick. I'm now experiencing the "blinking LED" issue with the stick that is apparently well known (according to Google), if not often experienced. Several times an hour, the lights on the stick will blink and it will become re-centered on whatever position the stick was just in...making flying very difficult. Google shows no known fix.

So, I'm probably going to return it...for a refund or a replacement, I don't know yet.

For you other X52 owners out there, I have a questions: The 3-position mode selector on the upper part of the stick...does that "click" when you change modes? It seems like it should, as in there should be an obvious change from modes 1 to 3...but there is no click, no "positive lock" when it changes. I can essentially move the mode wheel freely....I only know it's changed modes by the changing LED color. Is that normal? Just trying to figure out if that is wrong also.

Thanks!

With my X52 Pro, if it loses the centre, I just move the axis that has lost its centre through its full range and it resets itself. Alternatively, the game is very forgiving of USB devices being unplugged - as long as you put the stick back in the same socket, it should accept it just fine. It's a bodge for a pretty major issue, but it works in my experience.

"X52 Pro" here. What works for me when it comes to the clutch button is leaving the "Properties" window for the flight stick on the calibration tab open.
